I noticed that Banana Republic calls their pajama pants sleep pants. I guess it does sound more appealing. I finally made a decent pair of sleep pants and a suitable sleep top, although I screwed up the neckline. I thought I had knits figured out – but it’s never a sure bet when you’re dealing with stretch fabric. The stripes are once again created by the blinds and are not actually present on the clothes.

I saw a seller on Etsy referring to such pants as "lazy butt pants" which I found all together insulting - Can't I like comfort without my work ethic being called into question and my precious anatomy being called names? Sleep pants are much better pajamas sound like mythical things that children or bunny rabbits wear in fairy tales. I once heard pajama comes from a Persian word for "leg garments," which I think sounds fantastic! "Pardon me whilst I put on my leg garments." Could I start calling underwear 'crotch garments'?
I agree. I would never wear something called "lazy butt pants." My butt is never lazy. When I'm sitting around, it has the hardest job to do.
I fully support the use of "leg garments" but "crotch garments" could only mean thong - not full underpants.
