Contest #1

I’m afraid this won’t be as exciting as I had hoped for the first contest, but an opportunity presented itself. I accidentally made a prize so now I have to think of a way to select a winner. As you can see I’ve made two tank tops that are trimmed, once again, with stretch lace. I cut both of them way too small because I made the pattern from an extremely stretchy tank top and then used mildly stretchy fabric. I was motivated enough to fix the outer striped tank top by opening the side seams and adding a band of the same fabric with the stripes running vertically. I had enough of the white ribbed fabric from the tiny tank top to cut another, so I didn’t bother to fix this one, which brings me to the point. The prize is the very small white tank top that I’m wearing under the other one. If you want to win all you have to do is be the first person to make a comment on this post. You could say something like “I win! Take that, suckers.” I think the top would fit someone with a 34 bust and a short waist. It’s very sheer, so it can’t be worn alone unless you’re a show-off. Then you’ll have to email me your address so I can ship it to you. Good Luck!

Shoot - I'm one comment too late. That's okay, I'm extremely long-waisted, so the tank wouldn't have fit anyway.

OOOhhhh, can I choose a prize for the next contest? I want free sewing lessons - in my home. By sewing lessons, I mean I want you to come over drink vodka and finally convince me to throw out some of the boxes of fabric I won't ever use.

Alright, unofficial contest #2 has been won by funkospectrometer for suggesting such a great prize. I won't have to convince you to throw out fabric. I'll just load it into my car when you're in the bathroom.

Congratulations to Ann, our big winner with a small body!

Ann - winning this has not made you ineligible for future contests.

Others - I will try to make the next prize appeal to a wider audience.
