This is my new favorite pattern. It really is named "Amazing Fit Pants," Simplicity 2700. These can be made in almost any fabric. They fit just like Banana Republic & Tommy Hilfiger pants.

i have seen these jeans in person and -- not only do they fit amazingly -- they are lined beautifully with black/white checkered fabric and red piping. they are perfect.

I have this pattern, but when I looked at the measurement chart, none of my measurements lined up - not even close. I'm still thinking I need to go "curvy figure" but my crotch length is longer than any they have listed, and I'm not tall, nor do I have a big butt. I don't get it.
Ignore the crotch measurements on the chart. They're totally off. Their whole explanation of crotch length is inadequate because two factors affect it. One is the roundness of your butt, and the other is the vertical length between your waist and crotch. So someone with a flat butt and a high belly button would have a long crotch length, but wouldn't want to have four darts on their butt. The average fit was perfect for me, and my crotch length was off the charts.
Your pants look great! Last fall, i copied a pair of my favorite fitting H&M jeans by stacking foam, paper and then the jeans. I used a pin to poke through the fabric and mark the sewing lines. So easy to do.
