Sizing Myself Up

I spent part of the day measuring myself. After recording my waist, hips, shoulder, out-seam, arm length, and back of neck-to-waist, the instructions called for “crotch depth.” I wondered how to accomplish this with a tape-measure and of what significance this would be for making garments. Here is what I learned (see picture).
