Hoodie

Hooray! This is my second favorite creation, after the jeans. I love nothing more than a zipper hoodie, a good t-shirt (which I have yet to make), and a pair of jeans. I used Butterick pattern 4198. The only change I made was to put an elastic casing in the hem give some shape to the waist. I also managed to insert the zipper off center. I’ll try not to do that the second time around. This was my first separating zipper trial so I feel successful. The shorts need some serious help. They’re already way too short and I haven’t even hemmed them. They’re also way too full between the waist and the thighs.

The zipper was part of a huge lot from a warehouse on eBay. It has Pendleton embossed on the zipper pull. I hope I’m not damaging the company’s reputation.

That's HOT! This outfit is a "40-Love," "Game-Set-Match" winner. :)

Happy sewing....
