The prize for the July contest is this very sturdy tote bag featuring an ironed-on drawing of Crooky. I used the bag myself two or three times, so I know it works and you’ll know why it isn’t 100% clean. It is washable. If anyone comes up to you when you’re out and about with the bag and says that they have that same drawing at home, please find out who they are and where they live. Someone stole the original drawing right off the wall in a gallery.
Here’s how you win – guess how many groceries you can fit in the bag.

If the wine is nicely bubble-wrapped, I'd say 6 bottles would fit comfortably and safely in the bag.
Oh...groceries...
Plus one baguette.
Dear Private Life,
That's an excellent guess. I haven't tested it out yet, but you are definitely being considered for the prize. I'm going to leave the contest open for participation until July 30.
loaf of bread, head of celery, 1.5 lbs. ground sirloin, half gallon of milk, Star magazine, Twizzlers, 1/2 lb. sliced cheese, mustard, 5 Balance bars.
Dear Artaroundo,
It sounds like you have a pretty fancy meal planned. I'm not sure if the "head of celery" will fit, but I'll try it out and let you know.
I would put in 4 individual sized yogurts, 2 boxes of cereal, soy milk, a tomato, a can of beans and an orange. Last time I went to the store I insisted on not taking a bag, and I dropped 2 things of yogurt. However, my problem isn't that I lack bags, I just forget to bring them.
